You may donate any amount that you wish to ANIZ. If you would like to see ANIZ address something specific as it relates to HIV/AIDS we encourage you to participate in our donor advised fund.
DONOR ADVISED FUND
Helping individuals, families, corporations and private family foundations achieve their philanthropic goals of fighting the virus is a vital aspect if Aniz’s imperative to advance the quality of life for people affected or infected with HIV/AIDS.
Donor-advised funds allow donors to partner with Aniz in selecting specific issues of HIV/AIDS for Aniz to address. In this collaborative effort, Aniz acts as a facilitator and issue expert, working to connect the objectives of our donors with specialized staff that Aniz contracts with.
In establishing a donor-advised fund at Aniz Inc:
- You can start your fund with either a single gift or incrementally through the years and
take advantage of favorable tax situations.
- You can choose to have your fund managed as a perpetual endowment, meaning only the income, not the principal, is disbursed, or you may disburse principal at will.
- You may designate the purpose of your fund to a specific area of interest.
- You may choose to be completely anonymous or we can provide full acknowledgment
- You and your spouse or partner can invite others as advisory members to recommend grants from your fund, and you can involve younger members of your family to continue the life of the fund on to the next generation
- You may establish your fund through: cash gifts, securities, closely held stock, stock options, life insurance, real estate or other assets
In creating a donor-advised fund at Aniz, you will be working with staff that are committed to improving the quality of life for people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. Our staff provides analysis and program evaluation to help form and shape your grantmaking focus.
We offer fiscal integrity to assure you that donor-advised funds are restricted for their specific purpose. You will receive financial statements chronicling all transactions within your fund.
In keeping this donor advised funds flexible and convenient, Aniz Inc will provide all professional services - administrative, financial, and programmatic - to correctly use grants made from your fund.
